Bakery World Cup

This is the third edition of Louis Lesaffre Cup. It was organized for the first time in 2004 and its finals (Bakery World Cup) took place in 2005.

The participants compete in three categories: Bread, Viennese pastry and Artistic piece. The  national selection rounds for individual participants are held between 2009 and 2010 in more than 40 countries all over the world. Each national team will consist of three best candidates (one in each category). The national teams will compete in international selections wich will take place in five regions: North and South America, Africa/Middle East, Pacifc Asia, Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe.

In international selection there will be chosen seven teams which will join the winners of previous World Cup: France, Taiwan, Italy. Like in previos years each team will have several months for preparations to the finals of Bakery World Cup in 2012 in Paris.

The best candidates chosen in each of the categories form a national team composed of three bakers. This is the team that will represent its country at the international selection rounds organised on all fve continents (Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe,   Pacifc Asia, North and South America, Africa / Middle East).

The winner of Polish finale will represent the country in eliminations for central Europe in Croatia in 2011.

The organizer of Polish cup is Lesaffre Polska SA,  with the honorary support of Association of Bakery Craftsmen of the Republic of Poland and the Association of Confectioners, Caramel Makers and Ice Cream Producers of the Republic of Poland
